Mumbai: The fourth case of Omicron in India has been found in Maharashtra. According to the state health department, the man, a resident of Kalyan Dombivali, had returned from South Africa. He is 33 years old. He came to Dubai from South Africa, then to Delhi and from there to Mumbai on 24th November. They have not yet been vaccinated against corona.
He had a mild fever while landing in Mumbai. Other than that, they didn’t see any other symptoms of corona. He was admitted to covid Care Center in Kalyan for treatment.
12 high-risk and 23 low-risk contacts in contact with infected patients have been traced. All reports have been negative. The test of 25 fellow passengers traveling with him on the Delhi-Mumbai flight also came back negative. Earlier, a new case was confirmed in two patients in Karnataka and one in Jamnagar in Gujarat.
